TORNADO

A tornado is a rotating column of air that form the tight relationship between clouds cumulonimbus or in the rare occurrence of cumulus cloud base to the soil surface. Tornadoes come in many sizes but are generally in the form of a visible condensation funnel that narrows the tip touches the earth and is often surrounded by a cloud of debris

Generally, tornadoes have wind speeds of 177 km / h or more with an average reach of 75 m and travel several kilometers before disappearing. Some tornado winds that reached speeds of more than 300-480 km / h has a width of more than one mile (1.6 km) and can survive on surfaces with more than 100 km.

Types of tornadoes among other things:

Multi-vortex tornado

Multi-vortex tornado is a type of tornado in which two or more rotating column of air that surrounds the central clot.

Satellite tornado

The satellite tornado is a term for weak tornado formed near the strong large tornado that occurred in the same mesosiklon.

Waterspout

Waterspout is a tornado passing through the waters.

Although tornadoes have been observed on every continent except Antarctica, tornadoes are more common in the United States. The tornado also commonly occur in southern Canada, south-central and eastern Asia, east-central South America, South Africa, northwest and central Europe, Italy, western and southern Australia, and New Zealand.
